Toronto Cupcakes is a Canadian bakery specializing in gourmet cupcakes and desserts. This project focused on redesigning the company’s website as part of a UX/UI design assignment, with the goal of improving usability, enhancing the visual identity, and creating a more seamless online experience for users.

As a UX/UI designer in this group project, I was responsible for designing the product pages and checkout flow, as well as creating the prototype and leading the website redesign and simplifying navigation, reducing friction during the purchasing process, and improving the overall user journey. We identified several key issues in the original website, including poor navigation, a complex checkout process, lack of mobile optimization, and inconsistent branding.

Our redesign addressed these challenges with a clearer information structure, a faster one-step checkout, enhanced mobile responsiveness, and a fresh, cohesive visual identity. The result was a more enjoyable browsing experience, improved product discovery, and a streamlined checkout flow that supported better user engagement and higher conversions.
