FAFIDESS is a private, non-profit microfinance organization in Guatemala dedicated to supporting the growth of micro and small businesses, with a strong focus on empowering women in rural communities. Since its founding in 1986, the organization has worked to improve quality of life by providing sustainable financial services, business development programs, and training opportunities.

As a graphic designer, I was responsible for developing a wide range of visual materials — including annual reports, social media campaigns, landing pages, and internal and external communication pieces. My work also involved creating the organization’s branding and visual identity, developing a brand character design to personify the organization, and supporting overall content strategy to ensure consistency across platforms. Through this project, I focused on translating FAFIDESS’s mission and values into a cohesive and approachable visual language that strengthened their connection with the communities they serve and potential partners.
