Rivershed is a non-profit charity dedicated to improving the health of the Fraser Watershed and its riversheds by implementing Watershed CPR (Connect, Protect, Restore). Its vision is to see the Fraser Watershed as a resilient ecosystem where salmon, people, and local economies can thrive together in healthy rivershed communities.

As Social Media and Designer, I support this mission by creating impactful visual content and communication materials that connect with audiences across multiple platforms. My work includes planning and managing social media campaigns, designing graphics and promotional materials, and creating monthly newsletters. I also engage with the community by responding to messages and comments, building meaningful connections, and tracking social media analytics to guide future strategies.

In addition, I contribute to the design of the Annual Report and other outreach tools, ensuring all materials align with Rivershed’s mission, visual identity, and inclusive storytelling. I also update and maintain the organization’s websites through WordPress, keeping content accurate and accessible. This role allows me to combine creativity, strategy, and design to communicate complex environmental issues in ways that are inspiring and actionable while strengthening Rivershed’s connection with its community.
